*June 10* Cebu Epic - Long Live Long Rides [2018]
CEBU EPIC is a 1 day mountain bike event in the mountains of Cebu City and parts of Toledo City. It is approximately 100kms of xc ride and killer climbs.
This event is a team of 2 riders (this is for security and safety reasons) and is non negotiable.
- the 2-person team should ride together the entire race/event
- each team is required the following:
* strava/garmin recording for the entire race
* mandatory equipments which will be checked prior to the event and no equipments no ride policy will be strictly enforced.
The course being very long, marshals or race/event officials for the said event will be limited and will be placed only in specific designated areas. Arrows/markers will be placed in the entire course.
Strava/garmin will be checked after the ride.
There will be feed zones/stations in Tagbao and in Cantipla area only. The riders will have to bring their own provisions (food, water, hydration drinks and gels)
The event will be on June 10, 2018 and will start at exactly 5am.
It will start at Wily's store in Busay and the finish line will be at Buac, Malubog.
There will be 2 categories:
- the epic
- the mini epic
The epic will have a cut-off time of 2pm and will be at Cantipla, Transcentral Highway.
The mini epic will have no cut off time.
Routes for both events will be posted at a later date.
In the event were riders or a team decides not to complete the route, there will be a designated pick up area and riders who decide not to complete the event will have to ride to the designated area. They are also required to send a message via SMS. (The designated SMS number will be given at a later date)
Participants are required to get and present a medical certificate and signed waiver. (A waiver form will be provided later)

Registration for both full ang mini epic is set at P1000 for early registrants. This will be until May 10, 2018 at 4:00 in the afternoon.
After May 10, late registration will be P1300 per team.
Deadline is May 30, 2018 at 4:00 in the afternoon and we will not be accepting any registration after the said date.
